Privacy Policy for SlateMate

SlateMate is a macOS utility that adds professional slates to video clips. It processes media entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No personal information (name, email, address)
• No identifiers or device IDs
• No usage analytics or diagnostics
• No location data
• No in‑app purchases or account data

How Your Data Is Processed

• All media processing occurs locally on your Mac.
• The app accesses only the files and folders you explicitly choose.
• Outputs are saved to locations you select and remain under your control.

Third‑Party Libraries

SlateMate uses FFmpeg and ImageMagick under the LGPL. These libraries run locally and do not send your content to external servers.

Children’s Privacy

SlateMate is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page.
